Dreamcatchers for Children is a non-profit organization devoted to reform of children. According to their website, their main goal is to “educate the public on all aspects of child such as symptoms, intervention, prevention, statistics, reporting, and helping locate the proper resources necessary to achieve a full recovery.”
Recently, the organization shared a list written by a child from Oklahoma who ended up in the foster system after enduring severe mistreat from both his parents who were heavy drink.
The boy never experienced love or the joys a childhood normally brings. All he ever knew was negligence and starvation. Years went by before a neighbor noticed that things were taking place in the boy’s home and decided to alert social services.
Once intervened, the boy was taken to the Dreamcatchers for Children organization who made sure the little one ends in a new and loving home. Finally, when the organization found the perfect family and shared the great news with the boy, he made a wish list on which he included all the things he wanted in his new forever home. Needless to say, the list melted many people’s hearts. Many took their time to comment how the things on the list are not something a child should dream of because they should have them automatically as most of them are just basic needs.
This boy’s wish is that all he wants from his new parents here’s what he wrote:
“Things I want in my family:
I want food and water.
Don’t on me.
A house with running water and lights.
I want love and care.
Mom and dad don’t .
Don’t hurt my pets.
Help with school.
Nice clean clothes.
No lice. No bug in house.
Clean house.
Clean bed with covers.
Don’t sell my toys.
Treated fair.
Don’t get .
Tv in house.
Let me keep my school stuff.
Nice shoes.
My own comb soap.
Nice house and safe and heater coat.
Toothbrush.”
You, reading this now, probably have all the things that this little boy wants. The takeaway from this is: NEVER ever take anything for granted. The life you have now is someones wish list.

I haven't much but would give it all for this child. My hreart is breaking--again--- for children like this and I am sure there are many. GODS BLESSINGS ON THE ALL.
Always wanted to foster a child i figured with my physical needs (and not being able to get pregnant) i can skip the baby stages so i can be able to hug and not have to lug a child around. Im great at being a mother type who just want to heal a child and make them feel wanted because i didnt get to experience it myself. Always felt rejected but children were so loving innocent and grateful for all the love i had to give thats why i loved babysitting. I got to know what it felt like to care for children that were not my own and just love them with all my attention and snacks etc. my favorite thing to do is comfort kids to let them know that they are safe. ♥️ No matter my age it would never be too late to have a child of my own because there are so many out there that want that as well. My heart...😭😭
I pray that people start fostering and taking in kids to give them a better life. Just healing a child that could be yours from pain and shari g the Love if God for that child would be amazing. Avoid all the need for diapers etc and just have the basics for a child which is just peace in the home. If u cant have a kid then foster and save a child from the miserable foster systems

I pray for this little boy.And I also pray that his real parents that mistreated this little boy gets what’s coming to them for being so cruel.They should have to go through exactly the same thing they put this child through every day of their life.God will punish them for doing these things to this child. I pray this little boy found the parents that will love him and give him what he’s never had.
